U.S. Senate Votes to Uphold Second Amendment in Washington, D.C.

It’s really great to see some good news coming out of Washington.  I’m glad to see the D.C. City Counsel get smacked down.

Real guns laws are those that exist to protect law-abiding citizens, not to punish those that would defend themselves and their families or property.

Don’t expect Republicans to vote on this budget.  How does one get out of the Bush era deficit?  Create an even larger one that the next President will deal with in 4 years.

This shit is getting out of hand

The Democratically controlled Congress needs a 12 step program to stop their spending.  It’s like they haven’t found a pork barrel project for their constituents that they won’t vote on.

When these people are happy, I am sad.

Many conservative voices on Talk Radio have probably been involved in some Fear-Mongering of their own with respect to the Fairness Doctrine.

Some have even said that Blogging would even be targeted by the Liberals but I’m not sure how anything could be done about the spread of our independent voices on the Internet.

I guess imported Assault Weapons scare these people?  There is no significant use of Assault Weapons in crimes in the U.S.

These are the usual fear-mongering tactics that Liberals use to erode our rights and secure their own power base.

We’ll be seeing a lot of these tactics in the Obama Administration.  The $787 Billion dollar stimulus was full of pork barrel projects to make us more and more dependent and controlled by the Federal government.

I feel it’s worth linking to this excellent Wikipedia article.  I’m sure that the Obama Administration wants to overturn this decision because it’s an anathema to their agenda of limiting or eliminating privately held firearms.  To them only the Government controlled military, the police and their private bodyguards should possess firearms and ammo.

This is a major facet in their Socialist agenda of controlling everything in our lives.  However, everywhere this exists like England and Australia is a quagmire of increased gun violence by criminals who will always possess firearms because the the demand will always exist.

Only the threat of a self-defending armed citizenry can combat this quagmire.

As we know here at My Gun Fun, the razor blades to our razors, ammo is hard to find…in quantity.

Either is not available or backordered several months.  All the popular bulk ammo like 7.62 x 39 and .223 are now extremely in short supply.

I don’t think it’s the economy stupid…it’s the new Socialist Party in Washington that’s brought out the fear among the 2nd Amendment lovers.

Get your ammo while you can because if they cannot ban the guns they will try to ban and tax the ammo.
