Sorry, they just do.  They cannot form a reasonable argument when presented with facts and logic.  They just feel what they believe is true and they need others to believe the same thing, that’s why they cram it down our throats whether we like it or not.  That’s the Liberal way.

All of the worst things are Liberal ideas like the Department of Education, the EPA, the IRS, Unions, Gun Control, Food Stamps.  I could go on and on but you get the point.  Liberals suck.  And since this is my opinion and if you do not agree, fuck off.

Erik Scott was a West Point graduate, Army veteran, MBA graduate of Duke University, and a medical sales rep for Boston Scientific. He was gunned down by three Las Vegas police officers after they responded to a 911 call by Costco store employees reporting a man with a gun, possibly on narcotics, behaving erratically.

Scott was 38 years old, shopping with his girlfriend for items they needed as they moved in together. Unfortunately, those are the only details of the story on which anyone agrees.

To hear the side of the story presented by Scott’s family, friends, and some eyewitnesses, Erik Scott’s death was the result of ignorance and embellishment on the part of the Costco staff, and a combative, deterministic mindset from responding officers.

Other witnesses and the police claim that Eric Scott was armed and acting irrationally, and that his own actions led to his shooting.

What we know for certain is that Scott was in the camping section of the store taking bottles out of their packaging, attempting to determine how many of the bottles would fit in a cooler he was thinking of purchasing. At some point he bent over and his shirt rode up, exposing the pistol he had concealed at the small of his back.

A Costco employee saw the holstered sidearm and told Scott he was not allowed to have the weapon in the store. Scott replied that he had a permit and the right to carry his weapon. He then went back to shopping. The employee called over a manager, who informed a 20-something security guard, who made a 911 call to police.

We do not know precisely what was said in that important call, because the police have refused to release it. We do, however, know from police radio traffic picked up by a scanner that the guard had told police that Erik Scott was armed with a gun, was acting aggressively and erratically, and that he may have been under the influence of drugs.

It must have been a frightening tale: over a dozen police officers responded, along with a helicopter, ambulance, and competing incident command teams.

As the police began to form a massive perimeter outside, Costco managers began evacuating the entire store without apparently explaining why to anyone. As Scott and his girlfriend exited the store he was identified to police officers, who were waiting with guns drawn outside the front door.

A blog from Erik’s family described what happened next:

Erik turned to find three officers facing him, guns drawn, and all three shouting different commands: “Get on the ground!” “Drop your weapon!” “Keep your hands up!” Erik held his hands up, spoke calmly, told them he DID have a concealed firearm and a legal CCW and was an ex-Army officer. His girlfriend was screaming about Erik being a West Point grad, former Army officer, etc. Erik leaned to his left, hands still up, to expose the pistol, and repeated, “I am disarming; I am disarming.” Witnesses say he started to lower his right hand, palm OUT, perhaps intending to remove holster and gun together — but never got the hand below his shoulder, when one of the cops (believed to be William Mosher, who had committed a fatal shooting in 2006) shot Erik in the chest with a .45-caliber semi-automatic weapon. Erik dropped to his knees, clearly in shock, his face a picture of disbelief. He was shot a second time and collapsed. The rest is ugly. The three officers unloaded again, firing a total of seven hollow-point rounds. At least four, possibly five, hit Erik in the back, after he was on the ground and dying.

Two experts hired by Scott’s family examined his body. They claim that of the seven .45 ACP hollowpoint bullets fired into Scott’s body, one was fired through his armpit, suggesting his arm was raised at the time. Four remaining shots were fired into his back. There were no exit wounds, making it all but impossible for police to claim that investigators misread through-and-through wounds.

EPA Considering Ban on Traditional Ammunition — Take Action Now

All Gun Owners, Hunters and Shooters:

With the fall hunting season fast approaching, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Lisa Jackson, who was responsible for banning bear hunting in New Jersey, is now considering a petition by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) – a leading anti-hunting organization – to ban all traditional ammunition under the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976, a law in which Congress expressly exempted ammunition.  If the EPA approves the petition, the result will be a total ban on all ammunition containing lead-core components, including hunting and target-shooting rounds. The EPA must decide to accept or reject this petition by November 1, 2010, the day before the midterm elections.

Today, the EPA has opened to public comment the CBD petition. The comment period ends on October 31, 2010.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) — the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry — urges you to submit comment to the EPA opposing any ban on traditional ammunition.  Remember, your right to choose the ammunition you hunt and shoot with is at stake.

NSSF urges you to stress the following in your opposition:

* There is no scientific evidence that the use of traditional ammunition is having an adverse impact on wildlife populations.

* Wildlife management is the proper jurisdiction of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the 50 state wildlife agencies.

* A 2008 study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on blood lead levels of North Dakota hunters confirmed that consuming game harvested with traditional ammunition does not pose a human health risk.

* A ban on traditional ammunition would have a negative impact on wildlife conservation. The federal excise tax that manufacturers pay on the sale of the ammunition (11 percent) is a primary source of wildlife conservation funding. The bald eagle’s recovery, considered to be a great conservation success story, was made possible and funded by hunters using traditional ammunition – the very ammunition organizations like the CBD are now demonizing.

* Recent statistics from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service show that from 1981 to 2006 the number of breeding pairs of bald eagles in the United States increased 724 percent. And much like the bald eagle, raptor populations throughout the United States are soaring.

NSSF is springing into action, as the public comment period opens on EPA considering a regulation that will ban all traditional lead ammunition. This would basically end the shooting sports as we know it. Remember this is a no-win situation for us, because bullets made of materials other than lead are often considered armor piercing by law. Copper is your basic material, and copper is expensive, and has much poorer performance properties than lead.

As NSSF has pointed out, there’s no real scientific basis for restricting lead ammunition. Just about all shooting ranges at this point are recycling their lead (it’s too valuable to just leave in the ground). California’s ban has not been shown to reduce lead levels in Condors, and has driven more people away from hunting. Additionally, it’s interfered with lawful self-protection in parts of California that are considered condor habitat.

Are the gloves coming off? The Obama Administration has, until now, been reluctant to antagonize gun owners. Perhaps now that his popularity is reaching new lows, he’s looking to appeal to an important part of his green base by beating up on gun owners and shooters. Having utterly failed to eliminate the Second Amendment by hook, now it would seem he’s proceeding to do it by crook; by demonizing gun owners and the shooting sports as environmental devils. Let’s hope this is about as successful as the President’s other endeavors.

So I’ve been thinking, how could the Obama Administration do such a poor job with the oil spill?  The answer seems far-fetched but it’s becoming more and more apparent.  They want it to be a complete tragedy as it satisfies their Union and Environmental supporters before it satisfies anyone who is suffering.  If George Bush hated “black people” because of his problems with Katrina, what does this say about Obama?

He hates turtles and beaches and fishermen and oil workers and everyone who makes their living on or around the Gulf Coast?

It must.

A 5-4 ruling once again along political lines

The conservative majority wins another victory through the Supreme Court in what we always knew was true, that the 2nd Amendment applies to states and local governments not just the Federal government.  This should spell the end of the highly restrictive Chicago gun ban.  King Lord Daley is probably having a coronary now along with George Soros and Michael Bloomberg.

Their next step will be to get the U.N. or World Court to rule against our Constitution and move to seize our weapons.  Don’t laugh.

That’s how many days Helen Thomas was allowed to stay in the White House Press Corp after her outrageous and racially motivated comments regarding getting Jews out of Palestine.  At least she’s gone and will die soon enough.

• California – A more wretched hive of scum and villainy.  I hope their economic woes destroys them and may their shrines of Liberalism  fall into the ocean.
  
• Chicago – The home of Obama and the Chicago-way.  All the worst people in Obama’s administration have ties to Chicago.  Probably the most corrupt city in the U.S.
  
• Mexico - Felipe Calderón has balls.  His country is one of the worst regarding human rights and immigration and he has the cajones to condemn Arizona’s “racial profiling?” 
  
• Italy – Want a fair trial?  Don’t visit Italy.  And while we are at it, screw Europe.  We are becoming them anyway so why bother travelling?

Disturbing to some…A Glock?

Here is a vintage CZ-82 Makarov 9 x 18mm handgun in very good condition except its finish.  This YouTube video shows the before and after images of refinishing with DuraCoat HK Blue/Grey applied via airbrush.  I removed the original finish with TruStrip and a scotchbrite pad.

After I purchased my first AR-15 I have never stopped upgrading it.  After a while I had many left over original parts.  I realized if I purchased a barrel, a upper and a lower I’d pretty much have another AR-15.  After going through the ridiculous process of having a lower receiver shipped to my local favorite gun store, I waited the 7 days and finished the gun yesterday.  Here is the result:

Oh, how much has changed in one year.  Now, everything Obama touches turns to shit.  Everything.

Let’s check this list and see:

• Stimulus – Failure:  We’ve lost more jobs than were created.  What a HUGE waste of our money!
  
• Cap and Trade/Global Climate Change – Failure: They have been exposed as frauds like we didn’t already know that?
  
• Healthcare Reform – Failure: No one wants it except people who don’t pay taxes.  It isn’t going to happen. Yay!
  
• Banking Reform – Failure: This is only destroying our own money supply.  Who thought this was a good idea? Idiots.
  
• Campaigning for others – Failure: You are 0 and 3 Barry.  Give it up.  People will stop inviting you now because you are the touch of death.
  
• War of Terror – Failure:  We are worse off now than before 9/11/2001.  He has emboldened the enemy because he is weak.

So it’s pretty clear, all of Obama’s major policies are failures.  He is a failure in all ways.  And we have 3 more years of this disaster.

God help us all.

I admit it, I stole this headline.  The credit goes to user "novus collectus" at Maryland Shooters.  So what is a "C&R"?  It's a Curio and Relic License, or an "03 FFL".  Once you get one, approved firearms can be delivered directly to your door.  Did I say that firearms (even handguns) can be delivered directly to your door?!?!  I just took possession of this group via UPS at my own front door:

Video of the debate between Anita Dunn & Dana Perino

This morning on the Today Show,  FORMER White House Communications Director Anita “Mao Lover” Dunn defended the Obama Administration Anti-Terror policy, or lack there of.  The main reason why I point this out is because of the “FORMER” designation.  I don’t believe the Lame-Stream Media even reported her leaving this post a couple of months ago but if they did, they didn't explain the real reason.  Anita was exposed by Glenn Beck for what she is, a communist-loving Progressive Socialist.  Once Beck exposed her, the White House and Dunn were nearly silent and were given many Glenn Beck Show segments to explain what her position actual was.

So in the typical method of this Administration, take no blame, be arrogant and ask the staffer to just fade away, like Van Jones.

Obama has surrounded himself by extremists like Dunn and Van Jones.  The faster they are exposed and eliminated, the faster this incompetent Administration will fade into distant memory, like Dunn and Van Jones.
